IKIGAI, Your Dream ( Reason for Living )

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that refers to a reason for being, or something that gives your life meaning and purpose. It's a way of finding fulfillment and joy in your everyday activities.

The word itself is a combination of two kanji characters: "iki" (生き) meaning life, and "gai" (甲斐) meaning value or worth. So, ikigai literally translates to "a reason for living."

लक्ष्य (Lakshya)  हमारे जीवन में होना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है. हमारे मंजिल तक पहुँचने का सबसे शॉर्टकट रास्ता  होता हैं।  हमारे व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण में सहयोग करता हैं ।   ये कई तरीकों से हमारी मदद करते हैं, 

लक्ष्य रख कर काम करने पर हमे निम्न लाभ मिलता हैं : 

दिशा मिलना (Disha Milna): लक्ष्य हमें एक स्पष्ट उद्देश्य देते हैं. इनके बिना, हमारी ज़िन्दगी इधर-उधर भटक सकती है. लक्ष्य हमें वो दिशा दिखाते हैं जिधर हमें जाना है.

प्रेरणा (Prerna): लक्ष्य हमें यह जानने में मदद करते हैं कि हम क्या हासिल करना चाहते हैं. ये हमें प्रेरित करते हैं और मुश्किल परिस्थितियों में भी मेहनत करते रहने की शक्ति देते हैं.

समय प्रबंधन (Samay Prabandhan): जब हमें पता होता है कि हमें क्या हासिल करना है, तो हम अपना समय उसी के अनुसार व्यवस्थित कर सकते हैं. लक्ष्य हमें बताते हैं कि किन चीज़ों पर ध्यान देना ज़रूरी है और किन चीज़ों को टाला जा सकता है.

Reading practice (Choosing priorities )

We have so many works in our life, which work to do first and second and next and next. This process of listing of order , this process of enumerating is called prioritizing. 
 Effective time management involves prioritizing.
We cannot handle all the task that come our way, at the same time. Working to a list of priorities is very very vital and crucial.

We can divide our tasks into four categories,

1. Very important 
2. Important 
3. Useful
4. Unimportant

All these activities have a time horizon, 

1. Urgent (to be done as soon as possible)
2. Fairly Urgent (to be done by a नीर deadline)
3. Not Urgent (can wait for a time)
4. Optional (no time pressure)
The categories and time horizons, determine what u can put at the bottom of the pile and what must go at the top.

Estimate the time each task will take then plan your days and weeks round achieving the top priority tasks, fitting in the others round them.

Developing your personality is a journey of self-discovery, self improvement and growth. Personality development is the process of refining ( शुद्धीकरण ) , enhancing ( बढ़ाना ) your characteristics ( करेक्टरस्टिक = चरित्र, गुण ) , Attitudes and behaviours. It is a journey of understanding & knowing  who you are.

PD is a process of consciously working on your thoughts, behaviour and emotions to become the best version of yourself. It's about growth and self Discovery. 

A strong personality helps u to navigate life challenges with confidence, build meaningful relationship and achieve your goal. It influence how you see the world and how the world sees you.

Personality development (PD) is a lifelong process.  PD is shaped by our experiences, our relationship, and our environment.  But you can also actively influence it through self-reflection, Learning new skills and stepping outside your comfort zone.

Starting with your personality development (PD) journey : 

Self reflection

Self reflection is the key and very important practice of PD. Reflect on the thought where u started the journey and where you want to reach.  Drawing mental pictures of your future. Self reflection encourages you to become your best version.

Self-reflection is a journey not a destination. The more you practice it, the better you'll understand yourself and more you will grow as a person. When you grow as a person, all the material success, the emotional success will follow.

Journaling : is a tool to write down your feelings and thoughts and this tool becomes the powerful tool of self-discovery and self- reflection. 

Always practice writing , what you want to become and what you want to return back to the society.  Thinking is not enough, write down your positive feelings and positive emotions, that u want to return back to the society.

Meditation : can help you bring peace and power to your mind. When u sit for meditation  imagine the possibilities of the future.

Practising meditation can make your mind more aware of your inner thoughts and emotions.

Reviewing experiences : Take some time to reflect on your recent experiences both positive and negative. What can you learn from them.

Seeking feedbacks : Ask your trusted friends or mentors for their honest feedbacks on your behaviour and how u can improve.  

Personality development refers ( संकेत)  to the process of developing (विकास), enhancing ( प्रगति) and changing one's ( वन्स) own ( ओन )  personality over the time. It's about becoming the best version of yourself ( अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ बने) .

A strong personality can boost ( बूस्ट) your confidence, improve your communication skills and help you build stronger relationship. It can benefit, your career, social life and overall well-being. 

Self exploration : ( स्वयं की खोज )

Discover your values ( मूल्य, कीमत ,भाव ) : what's important to you, in your life? Is it honesty, compassion ( प्यार और दर्द )  creativity ( खोजने की शक्ति)  or something else ( या कुछ और) ? Understanding your core values, will guide your decisions and interactions. 

Reflect on your strengths and weaknesses

What are you good at ? What areas could you improve in ? Honest self assessment is crucial for growth.

Step outside your comfort zone : Try new things, meet new people and challenge yourself. This will not only build new skills but also boost your confidence.

                The Science of EGO
A Leader is a person who understands the positive and negative aspects of 
an Ego. 
A leader must be well awared of this phenomenon to overcome the challenges in maintaing sound relationships and in process of building a massive massive team. 

Family is our first team. The head of the family practises listening , so that he or she can be a solution provider in his life. 
 If he doesn't practice listening, he fails to handle his people ..

This knowledge will also help in Balancing relationships in a Diverse group. Listening and respecting others is the key to maintain healthy relationship in a team. Inflated view about their own success is detrimental. 

What is EGO ? 

Ego refers to an individual's sense of 
self-importance or self-esteem.It is the identification with one's own thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, often leading to a strong desire to maintain one's self-image and protect one's own interests. 
Like most things, ego has both pros and cons. People develop the inflated view of self importance . 

Pros of ego: ( The positive side of Ego )

1. Self-confidence:
 Ego can provide individuals with a sense of confidence and belief in their abilities. It can motivate them to take risks, pursue their goals, and assert themselves in various situations.

2. Drive for success: Ego can fuel a competitive spirit and a desire to achieve recognition and success. It can push individuals to work harder, persevere, and strive for excellence in their endeavors.

3. Self-assertion: Ego can help individuals assert themselves in challenging situations, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard. It can enable effective communication and negotiation to navigate personal and professional relationships.

Cons of ego: ( The negative side of Ego )

1. Arrogance: An overinflated ego can lead to arrogance and a sense of superiority. This can result in a lack of empathy and respect for others, causing strained relationships and hindering collaboration ( team work ).

2. Inability to accept criticism: A strong ego may make it difficult for individuals to accept or acknowledge their flaws or mistakes. They may become defensive and resistant to feedback, which can hinder personal growth and improvement.

3. Unrealistic expectations: An ego-driven individual may set unrealistic expectations for themselves and others. This can lead to disappointment and frustration when these expectations are not met, potentially causing stress and strain in various areas of life.

4. Difficulty in teamwork
Egotistical individuals may struggle to work effectively in a team setting. Their need for control or to be in the spotlight can clash with others, creating conflicts and hindering productivity.

5. Narrow perspective: A strong ego can make individuals resistant to considering alternative viewpoints or ideas.
