1. He was a jurist.
2. He was a economist.Earned doctorates in economics from both Columbia university and University of London.
3. In his early career, he was an economist, professor, and Lawyer. His later life was marked by his political activities.
4. He was a politician. He earned reputation as a scholar for his research in Law, economics, and political science.
5. He was a social reformer..Against social discrimination towards the untouchables ( dalits ).
6. He was a member of the constituent Drafting committee.
7. He was independent India's first Minister of Law and justice.
8. He published journals, advocated political rights and social freedom.
9. In 1956, he converted to Buddhism, initiating mass conversion of Dalits.
10. In 1990, he was awarded, the India's highest civilian award.
11. No peon, No water. Dr Ambedkar, described the agony of the society in his famous writing.
12. He was 3 brothers, Balaram, Anandrao, Bhimrao, and two sisters, Manjula and Tulasa. Only Bhimrao passed high school .
13. He was 15 years old, and was married to 9 year old, Ramabai.
